about me

I am an elementary art teacher for South-Western City Schools. West Franklin Elementary is my "home" school.  In the past, I have also taught at Stiles and Harmon Elementary schools.

Additionally, I work as the Building Technology Coordinator for West Franklin Elementary.  Technology is a truly and integral part of the 21st century classroom experience.  I enjoy working with teachers to integrate technology.

My past experiences consist of working as an art teacher for 5 years at Amqui Elementary and Una Elementary with Metro-Nashville Public Schools in Tennessee. I've also worked as an in-home childcare provider. This wonderful experience gave me time to spend at home with my daughters .
I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Art Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, I recently received a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a Technology Facilitator Endorsement from  Ashland University.

As an active member of the community, I love to help with our PTA (Parent Teacher Association). I also am active at my daughter's schools with their PTA groups.
My spare time is spent with my family.
